Either he is dumb as a box of rocks, or he is lying his @ss off. In my neck of the woods, a big mac meal is roughly the same amount as the federal minimum wage. Thus, our local McDonalds equates this meals worth at the same value as an hour of work. Changing the minimum wage dose not change the value of a big mac meal, it only devalues the value of the dollar. If minimum wage is increased to $15/hour, then eventually this meal will cost about $15.
Or look at it this way, $7.25 currently buys you an hour worth of work, when the minimum wage goes up to $15, then that $7.25 buys you less that half an hour. This is only one of the reasons that raising the minimum wage never works.
