Only ONE protester was charged and he was on the railroad bridge a mile away (which also crosses the same river). None of the REAL protesters were charged, based on “guidance” from Mayor/Police Commissioner Charlie Hale.
Traffic blocked, no permits, commerce stopped, etc. but we now leave it up to the Mayor which laws he will enforce?
Plus even this minimal action came only AFTER the Alaska judge stepped in with the order/fine. Long term effect on Portland commerce (beyond the community continuing as the punch line for jokes) will be devastating for the ship repair industry.
You can't make this SH*T up!

I’m totally shocked. Oh, wait. No I’m not. And, if these assclowns go to court and sue and win, the taxpayers end up paying their attorney fees. Is this a great country or what. Plus they’ll probably get some huge grant from the epa to do more ‘studies’ about the detrimental effects of the drilling. Suh-weeet! Only in ‘Murica.
