Notice the changing story?
At 2:43, the "analysis" notes that DuBose started his car. Nothing about accelerating, because the video does not show acceleration at this point.
But, at 2:46, the "analysis" states that DuBose had both started his car up and began accelerating three seconds earlier (i.e., at 2:43). The description changed (with no evidence for such a change) simply to fit the justification narrative. In other words, whoever wrote this "analysis" just made it up.
One other thing worth noting - if you watch the video, listen to the audio. You can clearly hear the engine revving as the car accelerates -- after Tensing fired his shot, killing DuBose.
Rather simple to me, he started the car AND had to have put it in drive or it wouldn’t have taken off AFTER the shooting. Obviously he was leaving and I have no doubt that the forward movement of the car began to drag the cop.
Sadly and coincidentally, yesterday our neighborhood had a horrible loss. Our wonderful eighty-five yo, vibrant neighbor, was crushed and killed by his car. We are not sure what happened but it appears he was backing out of his driveway and realized he had dropped his cash and errand list before getting in the car. He was in reverse and either opened the car door to reach out and get it or got out to get it and forgot to put the car in park. He was thrown under the car and was dragged down the driveway into the street and was found by another neighbor minutes after it happened. Whatever, it was a horrible scene and he died instantly of massive head injury. The car had to be jacked up to get him out. Sadly, today would have been his 85th birthday.
