Proust, it is Jon Stewart, not John Stewart.
Perhaps you ought to pay attention to what Donald Trump has done over the last thirty or so years such as using government to seize private property, running a scam university, etc.
If you are uninterested in snark, why are you treating Donald Drumpf like a genius. Oh, yes, I have it. In the land of the blind, the one-eye jack is king.
Now if he were in the Washington cesspool I'm not yet convinced he can handle the nuts and bolts of the “stronghold” that has a grip on the powers that be there. He would need “inside” people to assist greatly in navigating those halls, which operate very differently then outside those halls. It'd be like infiltrating a Costa Nostra stronghold. The real power of faces never seen who push the buttons of those seen. At one time I would have considered Walker as second to Cruz....but he too is proving to be part and parcel of the same old line political "talk" I don't want to hear....enough of the "talkers" ....I want someone in their that will "shake rattle and roll" without being concerned who is offended. Walker's now moved in that play nice to get along mode....wars are never won by being "nice"...ever!
So Cruz and Trump remain at the top for my vote as things stand currently.....I suspect this will remain as so til the end....Both are fighters for our country and that is what we need.
So true, so many people do not understand the art of politics versus the passion of politics. Yes, one has to be enthusiastic about certain issues, and may have certain core issues on which they cannot budge for religious or ethical reasons. However, they need to realize that there has to be flexibility on other issues in order to be able to gather together enough votes to actually win an election. Then again, some politicians realize that they may not be in it to win, but rather to pull the electorate or the leadership along in a certain desired direction.
....”people do not understand the ‘art’ of politics versus the ‘passion’ of politics... there has to be ‘flexibility on other issues’ in order to be able to gather together enough votes to actually win an election.”
Wonderfully stated!
He sure was young and good looking 27 years ago.
Trump, like any other successful business person, has had his triumphs and his defeats. If he gets knocked down - he comes back up swinging. Gotta love his “tough” attitude, even if you don’t like him. He does get things done and on time. That I like.
Let me add one thing to your post - they have no logical reason to be running for president. What do they bring differently to the table? Nothing - they all sound and act alike - with the exception, of course, for a few of them.
And from what I've read under budget.

Wow, and we talk about low information voters on the left. You take the cake.
Naw, he just wants to fly around the country, make speeches, neglect his business ventures, take fiery darts from the media, the Demoncrats and the GOPe,and take a huge pay cut, because he is bored./s
Also look at what he is DOING. Right now he is ripping the enemedia a new one. Go Trump, Cruz or Lose!
It was originally published in 2011. Same beliefs today, as then. Will be revised with updates (to his proven theories, most likely).
All the more reason to always write your *manifesto* in pencil [with apologies to Laurie Anderson]
China, was only attacked by one person in the entire debate.
TRUMP.
Mejico was only attacked by one person in the entire debate.
TRUMP.
