Donald Trump, whos polling at the head of the 2016 Republican primary pack, has finally decided to hire a national political director.
The media moguls presidential campaign announced Thursday that it had hired Michael Glassner for the job. Michael is responsible for developing and implementing a national political plan and will oversee strategic planning operations nationwide on behalf of Donald J. Trump for President, Trumps campaign said in a statement.
In the 2008 cycle, Glassner served as a top aide to Sarah Palin on Sen. John McCains 2008 presidential campaign. Hes also a former aide to former Kansas senator Bob Dole, and in the 2000 presidential campaign cycle served the Bush/Cheney campaign as an adviser in Iowa.

Yeah, I”m pretty sure she is.
There are different kinds of PACs. This one is hers.
I guess some can't read here.
SarahPAC is a ‘leadership PAC’ for supporting other candidates (not her own candidacy), so it is hers. It’s very modest as such things go.
The way Rollins has been talking about Trump on Maria Bartiromo's Sunday morning show on Fox, Trump should stay away from the guy for any sort of serious campaign advice.
I read that Trump advisers had met with Rollins, but just for general discussion of campaign tactics.
Now I'm about the age Rollins was when he ran the Perot campaign and I have people thinking of me as old.
Interesting footnote, Rollins quit the Perot campaign in July of that year and inferred that Perot did not have the mental temperament to be president. The very next day, Perot himself dropped out, citing that Bush was trying to sabotage the wedding of Perot's daughter.
That was a very bizarre sequence of events. I wasn't even taking drugs that summer but that whole summer of Perot was very surreal and bizarre.
thanks for clarifying.....he may be a good dude after all....but there were few of them on the McCain staff.
He came to politics under the tutelage of Bob Dole, so I’m not that impressed. Seems like same old, same old. We’ll see.
sometimes campaign managers are hired to have them on the payroll so OTHER candidates can not use them. (think do nothing job)
Totally agree,
I had Palin in Interior where only DOE functions which are legitimate would have been handled, after DOE was eliminated.
I switched Fiorina with Palin for the VP spot due to suggestions by a few freepers.
Of course this is all just our opinions, The Donald will decide without our input.
FYI. I heard The Doanld's interview on the Doc. Savage show. Savage asked to be made head of the NIH.
“When did Palin quit the race halfway?”
Yeah I wondered the same thing. Either referring to her resigning in 2009 as AK gov or contemplating, but ultimately deciding not to enter the 2012 race.
Rollins is a big mouth who always turns on his clients. He even did it when Michele Bachmann hired him for 2 weeks during her race. He can’t keep a secret and when was the last time he won anything?
Now that we look back on it, maybe Bush really was trying to sabotage his family wedding. Still, he would have faced much worse than that in office.
Fiorina would be an affirmative action appointment.
Just saw on facebook. Trump said he wants Trey Gowdy in Justice. Maybe The Donald is reading FR? We’ll see if he goes with any other of my suggestions.
Wow
Haven’t felt any Palinista barb in years
Is she running again..lol
Not a good move.
That’s very nice but she never ran and I doubt she ever intended to
All that teachers pet fighting crap so irritating here with the groupthink and zotlust
For nothing
Nada zilch
