but sometimes it’s jobs that a citizen of the United States doesn’t want to do

This is the meme he has bought and it’s not true as far as I can tell.

Oh, yes it is.

The way we solve the “jobs Americans won’t do issue” is we tell the people on welfare, here is a job. You don’t want the job, no check.

I'm starting to like Trump, but I would like him to list what jobs he is talking about that Americans won't do.

For instance, it is difficult for me to believe that there are jobs in landscaping and construction that Americans refuse to do for a decent wage?

Just wondering: How did this country survive in the 50's, 60's, and 70's when the illegal problem was much smaller than it is today?

How did we win World War II? Did illegals win the war for us?

Really, would fast food places like McDonald's go out of business if it could not hire Spanish-speaking illegals anymore?

Imagine this: you could go into a fast food place and all the workers spoke English and without a foreign accent? We can hope can we, but I think that day is long gone.

Remember when California and Texas were at least 70% English-speaking? Never again.

Trump visited Laredo, Texas recently: I was surprised to learn that this booming city with good jobs on the Mexican border was 95% Mexican-American.

What happened in Laredo over the years? Are non-Mexican-Americans like blacks and non-Hispanic whites scared to apply for jobs and live there, because they face unspoken prejudice from the 95% Mexican-American population? Just wondering.

No, it is not entirely true. It is jobs that Americans won’t do AT THE PRICE BEING OFFERED. In a free market economy, if it is a job that no one wants to do, someone will offer more money and people will come do it. Does that mean higher prices for our food? Sure, but we are subsidizing the lower prices for our food by all the bad things that illegal immigration produces.
