[Conscience of a Conservative]

I have watched it several times. It was difficult to hear what was going on as the victim was not speaking clearly. But had I been the cop I would have certainly been on guard. He did not have a DL, he handed the cop a bottle of alcohol, he was being evasive but most of all, he was continually moving and reaching for items in the car. He reached under the seat to get the alcohol and I think the cop showed remarkable restraint at that point. I would think if the cop wanted to kill him, that would have been the moment.

He reached for the bottle after the officer asked, "What's that bottle on the floor, there?" Hardly a furtive movement.

As I mentioned, it was difficult to hear the exchange. I wasn’t aware that the officer asked for the bottle.
