There were initial reports of the officer being dragged by or otherwise threatened by the car's motion. If that's not the case, and the cop was in no danger, he is screwed.
But metaphysically, I, generally, will save my outrage for the victims of police abuse who do nothing to warrant it. They exist, you know.
Fair enough. Watching the video, the guy was uncooperative, which was pretty stupid of him (certainly in retrospect). But, even given his stupidity, the cop’s actions in shooting him were outrageous, and criminal.
