Riding a wave of non-stop publicity, a new poll shows mogul Donald Trump solidly in first place among 256 likely Republican primary and caucus voters nationwide, says pollster John Zogby, who reveals that the billionaire is now in the lead with support from 20 percent of likely primary voters overall. The percentage is even higher among women voters.
Jeb Bush is in second place with 16 percent, followed by Gov. Scott Walker, Sen. Rand Paul, Ben Carson, Sen. Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Govs. Chris Christie, John Kasich and Bobby Jindal.
Mr. Bush bests Mr. Trump among all Republicans and among male voters. Mr. Trump, however, triumphs among conservatives, independents and female voters. He has a huge lead among women, Mr. Zogby said - 26 percent to Mr. Bushs 10 percent, and 7 percent for Mr. Walker.
This is not the first survey which reveals Mr. Trump has appeal for women voters - support deemed crucial by analysts who have also warned that the candidates style might not appeal to the ladies. The findings suggest otherwise. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll also found that he leads among the GOP female demographic, garnering 23 percent of the vote, with Mr. Walker in second with 16 percent - and Mr. Bush a distant third with 8 percent.

“not multiple times as you claim”
multiple times is more than once, isn’t it. Anything more than once is multiple. Geez, Mr. Brilliance, get a grip.
“Yea, probably best - just cant see how Phelps can be a role model for anyone on this site”
Right you are, but we aren’t dealing with normality here.
He divorced one time. Please tell us all the other women he divorced besides Jany Wyman? Why are you trying to say Reagan was a sleazebag?
“But I know, its his private life.”
Yes, it is. Leave it that way.
Were you on the Clinton Bimbo Eruption Team?
No, I mean whatever it was you wanted to say but toned it down.
You did sum up Trump concisely and accurately though ;)
I know Cruz well. And now I know you as well as I need to.
On the contrary. You should educate yourself about him before giving some reality-show celebrity the credit for his years and years of hard work.
"And now I know you as well as I need to."
Yes, anything that interferes with the cult of personality must be dismissed.
Knock yourself out for as long as it lasts.
Bye.
Maybe you should ask about putting a "caucus" designation on Trump threads and moving them to the Religion forum.
“Maybe you should ask about putting a “caucus” designation on Trump threads and moving them to the Religion forum.”
“Maybe you should ask about putting a “caucus” designation on Trump threads and moving them to the Religion forum.”
You ask. It’s your bright idea.
I’m not one of the congregation.
What part of “speaking the public anger” is escaping these idiots?
“Im not one of the congregation.”
That’s too bad. You’ll miss out on all the fun and anticipation that goes along with the TRUMP campaign, and you’ll be sitting there with a sour puss when we will all be cheering because Trump has won. I love the smell of success in the morning.
Really? It's too bad I'm not one of the congregation, huh?
Well, at least you admit it's a worship service for some. The honesty is refreshing, even if the reality is disturbing.
"Youll miss out on all the fun and anticipation that goes along with the TRUMP campaign,"
For the love of God, lady, it's not about a party. It's about saving this country while we still have time.
" and youll be sitting there with a sour puss when we will all be cheering"
Unbelievable, stunning shallowness. You seem to think this is one of Trump's reality shows.
" because Trump has won. I love the smell of success in the morning."
Then ask yourself this.
How and why do you define "success" as voting for a liberal Democrat? When did conservatives start doing that?
Trump said last week that some of his views are those of a Democrat. He's telling you straight out what he is. In view of that, how do you think the country will experience "success" at the hands of a Democrat?
Can you explain that?
Yeah, if that sleazebag makes it all the way to the White House, which is the long shot to end all long shots, I'll be crying all right...for my country.
And when it tanks, thanks to the willingness of conservatives to elect a self-described Democerat, you'll have to own your share of the blame. My hands will be clean, at least.
Smell that.
