Donald Trump is running for president. Many believed or hoped that the Donalds latest foray into national politics was nothing more than a public-relations move, not a serious attempt to reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
But now that Trump holds the lead in national polls, as well as polls in Iowa and New Hampshire, its time to take his campaign seriously. Media outlets like Huffington Post and the Wall Street Journal, which are covering Trumps run as an entertainment story, not a news story, are making a mistake. If Trump wants to be a serious candidate for president, and has the numbers to back it up, he must be vetted like a serious candidate for president. A good place to start is to take a hard look at Trumps ties to Philadelphia and New York organized-crime families.
Donald Trumps Connections to Organized Crime
Trump was building his eponymous empire of hotels, casinos, and high rises in the early 1980s in New York City and Atlantic City. In both places, the construction industry was firmly under the thumb of the mafia. And in both places there are literally concrete connections between La Cosa Nostra and Trumps lavish projects. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Cay Johnston, who has covered Trump for decades, has written a very useful list of questions for Trump. Many focus on his ties to the mob. In addition in his 1992 book, Trump, The Deals and the Downfall, author Wayne Barrett lays out a slew of suspicious dealings and associations.

I think we know who the Bushbot trolls are, around here. Project much?
Good sleuthing, JL...good sleuthing.
or Pelosi...
No closer than the polidiots in DC are to the DC mob.
Alan Marks, eBay Incs senior vice president for communications, strenuosly denied Marcus was fired.
The story is flat out wrong, Marks said.
When Marcus, a motivated and highly intelligent coder by trade, announced he was leaving the CEO job for a VP position at Facebook, there were more than a few raised eyebrows because the change was perceived not as a big move up but a slight move down.
In his roughly three years as PayPals president, Marcus ruffled more than a few feathers when he sent a heated and caustic email to all of PayPals 14,000 employees.
In that email, Marcus slammed employees for not using PayPals mobile app he helped introduce and said that if workers werent passionate about the companys mission they should find another job. Silicon Valley had a field day when the email was revealed.
The email, in part, read:
Its been brought to my attention that when testing paying with mobile at Cafe 17 last week, some of you refused to install the PayPal app (!!?!?!!), and others didnt even remember their PayPal password. Thats unacceptable to me, and the rest of my team, everyone at PayPal should use our products where available. Thats the only way we can make them better, and better.
Reactions in the Valley to the email ranged from supportive to outright dismissive.
...or Harry Reid.
Let’s see, he’s a clown, rapist and now close to the mob. Got it!!! Donald sure is a busy fellow.
Am I supposed to be impressed by this? Outraged maybe? If so you and panty waist who wrote this screed are in for a big disappointment. I’d rather vote for Tony Soprano than Jeb Bush.
well at least not until he made that trip to Dallas...
Hillary has improved somewhat in the ash tray hurling....hypersonics now:
next week child molestation......
Having close ties to The Mob didnt hurt JFK.
well at least not until he made that trip to Dallas...

You might have a point there. My wife is in total agreement with you. I’m thinking, however, that the CIA had something to do with his assassination. Whoever did it, where are they now when we REALLY need them?
FR needs a like button...
Just another Cat Nip thread. :)
LOL....
“Its turning out that the Mob is more American than the criminal Rats and GOPee these dwys.”
Sadly you are right.
I’d go back to the Mob any day over our current Islamic Fundamentalist administration
It appears that Trump does his best to stay above reproach. Of course, his enemies, both GOPe and Democrats, will accuse him of anything and everything in an attempt to besmirch him. I’ll bet his junk-yard-dog lawyers are standing by just waiting to pounce on every attack. It’s gonna be interesting.
(Personally I’d prefer an honorable mobster than the quislings we have in office now.)
