Donald Trump is running for president. Many believed or hoped that the Donalds latest foray into national politics was nothing more than a public-relations move, not a serious attempt to reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
But now that Trump holds the lead in national polls, as well as polls in Iowa and New Hampshire, its time to take his campaign seriously. Media outlets like Huffington Post and the Wall Street Journal, which are covering Trumps run as an entertainment story, not a news story, are making a mistake. If Trump wants to be a serious candidate for president, and has the numbers to back it up, he must be vetted like a serious candidate for president. A good place to start is to take a hard look at Trumps ties to Philadelphia and New York organized-crime families.
Donald Trumps Connections to Organized Crime
Trump was building his eponymous empire of hotels, casinos, and high rises in the early 1980s in New York City and Atlantic City. In both places, the construction industry was firmly under the thumb of the mafia. And in both places there are literally concrete connections between La Cosa Nostra and Trumps lavish projects. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Cay Johnston, who has covered Trump for decades, has written a very useful list of questions for Trump. Many focus on his ties to the mob. In addition in his 1992 book, Trump, The Deals and the Downfall, author Wayne Barrett lays out a slew of suspicious dealings and associations.

Unions in the public sector should have never been allowed to exist - history has shown an incestuous relationship between union contributions to elected officials and said officials entering into sweetheart deals with the unions.
In the private sector, unions did some good in the first part of the 1900’s, but the theory underpinning their existence has long gone.
My late father was a big union supporter, OCAW and then Teamsters. It was a matter we could not discuss as his theory was that management worked 24/7 to shaft the workers and any suggestion to the contrary was not possible.
However, it was exactly the theory that management and the workers had different interests in the success of their companies that lead to the downfall of US manufacturing. Not saying it was 100% of the reason, or even the majority of the reason, but it certainly aided in the downfall.
My kinda gal! I’m with you on that.....just few hours of sleep and I’m good to go...unless I’m working.
Nor should Walker had given them Co-Hosting Positions when he knew he was going to run....in fact if I recall this may have been close to when he announced.
At any rate...lots of people talk a good talk....that’s what politicians often do....that’s a strike against him for me as it’s not the issue so much as what the entire political push by them is doing to our country and churches. Walker knows this but apparently he’s not too concerned.
I’ll stick with Cruz of course....until he’s out of the picture or the nominee that’s my position. But I do love watching Trump...such fun!
Ut oh....probably didn’t mean for that pic to get out.
Maybe Walker is a stalking horse for ¡El Jeb!....who knows?
Lots of crazy theories being bandied about, around here, today ;-)
Lol...power nap!
Trump works with them. He has too in construction. That doesn't make him beholden to them.
Greta had a very good interview with DT at the beginning of show. She touch on many areas.
He was supportive of “mike” (Huckaby) comments and the serious of Iran. Negative to Kerry and 0 Put Schemer on target
Came down heavy on Bush and education. 24th in world. Need local control.
Addressed IVana situation. Very positive toward her and negative to 60% of media
Oh I think Walker wants the Presidency....but he wants to remain a Governor and or involved in the politics of his state so he’s going to always have his finger on the pulse he needs to win elections to those positions. He is a Politician after all.
I get busy and can’t stay with any individual thread.
Good night, dearest you.
When was this? I’m not even familiar with the FoxNews line-up/schedule, any more....with the exception of Hannity ;-)
It’s been fun. See you back, soon ;-) We night owls will hold down the fort.
Yes 24 ahead of us and $me of them 3rd world countries
One of his best interviews. Very serious and matterafact
LOL!!! Showing that to hubby....who loves naps :D
Greta is on here at 7 right before O Really. She usually is on rerun later but I’m not usually up then
Yes, serious, calm and straight to the point and I liked his mild lecture to Greta at the beginning. Donald Trump set the tone with that!
Gulliani on now
Dang....missed it. I’ll look for a replay or vid online. Thanks.!
