Jeb not only had the authority to intervene, he had a constitutional OBLIGATION to defend Terri and he refused to.

The ONLY time that Jeb ever really took a stand was on the recount issue in 2000 and it's pretty obvious that he only did that because George was his brother, I don't think he would have helped an actual conservative.
