Many assumed Ivana was lying. I did not. I wanted to hear it from her first and now that we have, we can conclude that the story was just a hit piece. Ivana must be a forgiving woman, because judging from the legal reasons given for the divorce, she was ill treated.
The condescending and chauvinistic remarks against Ivana on this thread (not accusing you of those) were contemptible.
Now that she has refuted the story, you’d think she was the Virgin Mary or similar.
She works for Trump. I expect if she went after him, she'd become an ex-employee. It's possible there are any number of people (other than Trump) waiting to hire someone for a high-level position whose principal qualifications are (1) being Trump's ex-wife and (2) being willing to hold back on telling the world what a dirtbag he is. I'd probably not risk my job if I were her.
