Divorced here. Wasn’t an awful one. Didn’t change my name. That’s a lot of trouble btw.
Had it been an awful divorce from a rapist, the very FIRST thing I would have done is change my name.
And never spoken to him again.
That doesn’t seem to have happened.
Not that my lawyer didn’t encourage me to think of circumstances like the aforementioned for ‘leverage’. I didn’t take him up on that, karma being what it is. Then again I wasn’t jockeying for millions of dollars.
Glad you didn’t. Ivana would have gotten a lot of money anyway. Not sure why she went there but again it was 26 years ago and obviously they both are different people now and are friendly which they both don’t have to be at all.
