But she’s speaking to an audience which apparently inhabits an alternate universe to begin with. While there are certainly some questionable cases of the use of deadly force which merit investigation, Michael Brown’s death in Ferguson, Missouri is not one of them. Not only did a grand jury reach that conclusion, but both Barack Obama and Eric Holder arrived at the same finding. Diverse media voices as far to the left as Jonathan Capehart have written off that case and reluctantly admitted that Officer Darren Wilson acted completely appropriately on that fateful day. The author is missing the point. The objective of the "Black Lives Matter" crowd is to create an environment where a thug like Mike Brown can do as he wishes, and the police are constrained from acting. They want immunity from the law. They want a society where the only crime is for a white person to defend himself with deadly force.
