Why Donald Trump is leading the Republican field
humanevents.com ^ | 7/24/2015 | Brian Darling

There is a simple reason why Donald Trump is leading the race nationally amongst the numerous Republicans vying for the nomination of their party. Voters are despondent, and angry, and looking for somebody different.

Republicans are mad that the Republican controlled Congress has produced nothing. They recognize that the Republican leadership has been ineffectual. They see Donald Trump fighting and fighting hard.

Same seems to be true on the Democratic side where Hillary Clinton has been forced to re-launch her campaign two times, because she is such a boring candidate who does not say anything to excite rank and file Democratic voters.

Donald Trump has tossed aside the Queensbury rules of combat for a political version of a bloody MMA battle. This has caused chaos in the Republican field that will hurt Gov. Jeb Bush more than any other candidate. As we get closer to debates, it is clear that Trump will train his fire on Jeb and it is not going to be pretty. Expect Jeb to have to tap out of this political fight when it becomes a Trump versus Bush debate battle.

While Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is pulling huge crowds and showing that Clinton has a glass jaw, Republicans leaders in Washington have done as much as they can to help put Hillary, or another Democrat, into the White House.

Polls indicate that since the Republican sweep to victory in 2014, President Obama’s popularity is rising. That helps Hillary.

During that time, Republican rage at leadership is also rising. A recent Pew Research Center study found that “the Republican Party’s image has grown more negative over the first half of this year. Currently, 32% have a favorable impression of the Republican Party, while 60% have an unfavorable view.

The simple reason is that both parties have been complicit in flooding the country with foreigners and refusing to enforce our laws and borders.
The Democrats represent the illegal aliens.
The GOP represents the employers of illegal aliens.
No one represents the citizens.
Trump stepped into that vacuum.

The sad reality is that both parties have become known as the UNIparty.

I keep hearing democrat consultants and even many republican ones claim that voters want to hear "what the candidates will do for them".

WTF? I don't want any candidate, politician, bureaucrat, or other trough feeder doing anything for me! If they do something for me, it can be then taken away. It was never mine to begin with.

I want to hear what politicians will do for our country! Our economy! Our national security!

Would someone please remind the press that it's not the government's job to give you anything!

Well many NOW have regretted voting twice for Mr. Obama. Plus MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD played a BIG role.

The two political parties are no longer democrats and republicans. They are now the political establishment and their dependent vote-slaves versus the people of traditional middle American values.

We have to elect a republican if only to fill Supreme Court vacancies.

Exactly. But I believe that Trump would make a terrible president who would rarely stand for conservative principles. People DO like the fight that they see in him, however.

Thirty-two percent approve of today’s Republican party?

Unless they’re asking the extended families of the RNC, seems to me those numbers are a tad high.

Sarah is not running. I think that Cruz is more effective, anyway.

Americans were extremely angry with George Bush and the Republican party when they elected BHO in 2008 and gave the Democrats complete control of the federal government. Obama was able to use that again in 2012 by repeatedly blaming Bush for everything. Trump is a straight shooter.

THE BUZZ IS DONALD NO LONGER "PRETENDS" TO BE A REPUBLICAN

(AT LEAST NOT LIKE THE CONGRESSONAL CONTINGENT OF GOPe's SUCKING UP TO OBAMA).

Why does Donald say and do these inexplicable things? Why did Donald say: "I sometimes have Democrat thoughts."

ROTFLOL.

REALITY CHECK This is one of Donald's famous teases---the way he's gonna peel votes off Hillary's slobbering Dem base.

Trump polls soar AFTER Trump zonked McCain.

The perennially stupid Perry collapsed AFTER saying Trump was a "cancer" on the GOPe. The flailing Cruz collapsed after a pretty dumb move---trying to latch onto the soaring Trump aura.(Perry and Cruz disintegrated to 2% in some polls).

The meme is 'angry' which is something stupid people buy into... it's too bad this writer picked up on it. He writes for a good organization. I expected better. (liberals are putting out the angry thing - conservatives should reject it)

It's like you said, citizens want protected borders and they're not impressed with congress selling out to the interest of the corrupt ones over citizens..
