Re:
Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston, has died Almost any death is a tragedy for the family of the deceased, and for that, I offer my condolences. Yet, this is the lead news story of Fox News and I assume CNN this morning.
However, and it may be my age talking (I am near 70 years old), but I do not see why this has taken on national importance?
Can anyone enlighten me?
If not buy another round... this Blood Mary is getting watery--

The news media remains obsessed with all types of celebrities even though much of the public doesn't share their interest. The fascination of the media with Obama is based on his celebrity. It surely can't be based on his intellect, statesmanship, or even common sense.

Because “society” is supposed to lower their collective heads in sorrow over a bunch of:
Drug addicted,
Too much money then they know what to with,
Epically down fallen,
Self destructive,
Melanin in abundance,
“artists”.
