Why is the left is so intent upon removing the Confederate battle flag from public display?

It represents rebellion against modern liberalism and DC bureaucrats. Liberals see its display as an act of defiance.

Actually, they don’t want black people (or anyone else) to realize the DemocRATS were the ones flying the Confederate flag .. not Repubs.
