Sean Spicer seems to be one of the few Republican ‘advisers’ that apparently isn’t gay - although I haven’t been able to fully confirm that.

In any case, I don’t think today’s Republican Party can hold a candle to Reagan if their lives depended on it, and, regardless, the Republicans back then certainly didn’t mind using EVERY NAME IN THE BOOK to try to stop Reagan in his 1980 run.

Very true, and the GOP has deteriorated even further since 1980. Were Reagan trying to run for President today, he and his supporters would be derided just as Cruz is today.
