One of my first jobs after the Army was working for a multi-billion dollar corporation. During my first week about 20 new hires were taken to the cafeteria. The two owners, both multi-billionaires, came in an welcomed us to the company. This was not a group lecture. They worked the room, greeted, and shook the hand of each of us. These two did this same routine every couple weeks.

It was never unusual to see one or the other of them walking around in the plant on 2nd shift. They stopped and talked with the line workers, and asked for suggestions/ideas. Most of the employees earned their pay. Some of course were slackers, but they didn't last long.

Its great having a boss mike that. I have one on the Forbes list that is the same way. You could put him in a room and ask someone to spot the billionaire and they would never get it..
