it's now necessary to judge a candidate by WHO their donors are, and what THEIR political and commercial interests are.

For instance: Ted Cruz took $15mil from domestic energy producers.

That's the very best class of donors. Their interests coincide with America First interests.

But those folks in manufacturing, banking, services and retail etc. are interested in cheap labor (illegals) and open, unfettered trade.

Just look at the political and commercial interests of the donors and you'll know who wants to sell America and who wants to build America.

And that is THE principal issue of this campaign.

Yes. I’d say it has always been the case and has always been the conservative position in opposition to the Democrat regarding “money in politics” and “campaign finance reform”.
