there never has been a celebrity POTUS candidate like him.(Trump)

I do not know if you were around in 1992 but that year the buzz for Perot was much bigger than it is now for Trump. Perot seemed a lot more serious to voters than Trump does now. Even after Perot did squirrely stuff like dropping out of the race then getting back in, he got 19% of the vote. The result was Clinton 43%, Bush 38%, Perot 19%. You can bet that most of the Perot vote came out of Bush’s total so if not for him we would never had to suffer through all the damage Clinton did. And Clinton did a hell of a lot of damage, selling our missile secrets to the Chinese, registering millions of illegals with his motor voter and I could go on.

Yes, I was around then and Perot’s celebrity is not comparable to Trump . Trump has been a larger than life celeb for several decades. Perot was nothing of the sort.

LIV had no idea who Perot was before the 1992 election. Those folks all know who Trump is with his TV show, billionaire NYC developer image, etc.

Fact is a GOPe POTUS candidate has no chance in 2016 in places like Ohio and PA due to their support of TPA and open borders. Conservatives need a status quo disruptor now and it appears Trump is the only viable candidate that fits the bill. Running another vanilla GOPe candidate in 2016 is a guaranteed loss because the Dems have the electoral college game plan and top cover from MSM to win.
