PHOENIX - A woman and two dogs were found decapitated in an apartment in Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department, and a man, with a severed arm at the elbow, was taken into custody.
Officials said a friend of the resident of the apartment was checking on his friend. The friend knocked on the door, which was answered by a 43-year-old man who officials said had an eye that was removed and a severed left arm at the elbow.

Funny story.....
I work in a hospital.
Had a patient once..that had had a stroke. She could talk...and communicate pretty great actually...but would say the funniest things at times.
I was standing outside her door one day..and one of the food service girls was asking her what she wanted to eat for dinner.
The girl asked her if she would like to have meatloaf....The patient said..."No, but I do want Rod Stewart..!!"

Slapping myself on the forehead while trying to even think there was any possibility that he was NOT responsible.Well... I suppose the woman could have decapitated the two dogs, gouged out his eye, cut off his arm, and he decapitated her in self defense.

Bird shot took off the left side of the guy's face.Never underestimate the potential for bird shot to strip meat off of bones (and pulverize bone) at close range. Those pellets are moving as a mass close in and haven't spread out yet.
