Cruz/Trump or Trump/Cruz

I don't think it will be Cruz/Trump because if Trump doesn't flame out he'll win. And if does flame out, he'll fall to single digits and be out of the race.

Trump/Cruz would however be unbeatable. Cruz would inspire the Hispanic vote and the conservative core and Trump would attract everyone p!ssed off with Obama and Congress.

Trump and Cruz are the only two that have a chance of winning the general election. If Cruz does not start polling higher think he would be smart to try to get on the bottom of a Trump ticket. After four years Trump will get bored with it and Cruz and can run for President from a better position.

I wholeheartedly agree, but not for the same reasons. Since Trump is already getting old, this is likely his last opportunity. However, Cruz, being much younger will still be a strong candidate for the POTUS. It is also a great division of labor. Pres. Trump could do what he does best, as in business deals, applied to foreign policy, and as a vociferous spokesman for the USA. As VP, Cruz could do what he does best and head the effort to root out the kleptocrats and ideologues from the fed, and go after, and hopefully unmake several abusive fed agencies that are not constitutional and grossly overstep their authority (EPA, Dept of Education, Dept of energy, and a whole host of lesser agencies created a long time ago, served their purpose, but were never abolished).

That would provide 16 years of conservative rule. I like it.
