A little hard, are we? I do have principles, everyone has the right to be left alone and live their lives to their standards and principles as long as they do not force it on others. Also, as long as one does not impose on others or intentionally hurt others. If someone crosses that line where laws, just laws, are broken, then they have their day on court and if convicted, should face punishment. Free minds and free markets are my principles as well as the content of one character. I also have other principles too, I just think for the most part, beyond the basic laws of Moses, the the federal government should not be involved and these matters should be left to the States and/or people themselves to decide and act on or not. Let me add, people must be left alone to face the consequences or benefits as the case may be in the decisions they make in life and beheld accountable and responsible for them.

If two gays want to be considered married, it is their business, but if another disagrees then so be it, either side should not force the other to conform to their whims.

I reiterate that you seem to have no experience with the gay culture. Beneath the surface, it is one of continuous and unrestrained pursuit of sex and with it comes destruction. What is it, - 80% of virulent STDs among gay males? Do you really think that stable, harmless marriage is the objective? They want to be in the forefront, in the view of everyone and they want no opposition. They want access to our young people because that's how you make more gays. Do you really think that they want leadership positions in the Boy Scouts because of repressed civic mindedness?

I spent part of my youth by myself in Hollywood and there almost wasn't a day that went by without some gay trying seduce me. I have a gay brother who was seduced and he has turned into a monster himself who can't be trusted anywhere around the cousins, our children.

I agree with most of your principles except for the concept that we should just "go with the flow" and wait for somebody else to raise objections and do something.
