When I responded in reply 29, I should have included the Israeli lobby, who are pulling out all the stops to defeat the agreement. The article above is from the Israeli Lobby.

And what it boils down to is can the Israeli lobby convince 13 senate dems and 44 House dems, to vote it down.

If they are successful, the world will say that the Israeli lobby, working on behalf of Israel, is running US foreign policy. And the world will blame Israel. That's a no-brainer.
