Her lawyer better check his breaks and stay off airplanes.

In a normal world, this would end a presidential campaign.

I wonder if her lawyer has the proper security clearance to possess these, and if he’s looking at them on a network with proper security safeguards to store and view such classified documents?

Perfect. Clinton gives the emails to her lawyer. This means the emails now fall under attorney/client privilege.

I think she did something like this during Whitewater.

What is “IC derived”? From an integrated circuit? Dual inline package or surface mount?

Four out of a sample of just 40 emails that were on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s personal email server “included IC-derived classified information,” according to a memorandum that L. Charles McCullough, III, the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community...

I guess ObaMao didn't get to Mr. McCullough fast enough.

Let’s get the server. Let’s get that thumb drive! We are letting a woman with poor judgement worm her way into the White House because she is owed it.

But....

Hillary thought SECSTATE had classification authority up to the SECRET level. But...

she is a democrat and will say, "I'm sorry, I made a mistake and it won't happen again. Let's just move on to important issues like income inequality.

And given Hillary Clinton has NEVER really disclosed what kind of security her private email server was using, that tells me the server may have been hacked and she didn't know it.

It is interesting that she had those e-mails on a thumb drive and yet had them printed out in the form of 120 reams of paper and delivered them to the State Department as such.

It will be interesting to see if attorney client privilege will trump national security. Didn’t Scooter Libby go to jail for something like this? In a real world Hillary would be pulling out of the race, but she is counting on her sleazy lawyers and an adoring press to keep in the running. While she may avoid prosecution, it should be painfully obvious to Democrats that she is damaged goods. The dilemma for Democrats is if not Hillary then who. Bernie the Red may be wowing the party leftists, but will the American people really cast their vote for a Communist as president?

All we have to do is send a Congressional delegation to China and ask for copies.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t they looking at paper printouts of the emails.

“The classification marking was in red ink...my red ink cartridge ran out...what difference, at this point, does it make!”

This is why the investigative authority of the IGs is being restricted.

Another Inspector General is in another news story today:

“Inspector General: New Obama Policy Diminishes Govt Watchdogs”

Inspectors general will have to get permission from the agencies they scrutinize to gain access to wiretaps, grand jury, and credit information under new rules introduced by the Obama administration, according to The Washington Post.

The 58-page ruling was issued by the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel, according to the Post.

The inspector general for the Justice Department said the ruling will undermine his ability to carry out his responsibilities for pursuing fraud and corruption within the government.”

Reading this, I know I wouldn’t want to be fooling with these people. Federal Prosecutors have real good prosecution records, this is not an FP but all the same, I don’t think this looks good though it could well drag out for some time, next summer or so.
