I don’t have any idea of his politics but William Shatner wrote an article in “Guns” magazine in the 60s I guess.
It was about him growing up in a rural area in Canada and using his .22 rifle. About the only thing I remember is he once almost shot a grizzly with it. I can’t remmeber why he didn’t but he was later glad that he didn’t.
He’s very fortunate that he didn’t!
