One idea that came up was to urge three leading candidates Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor; Mr. Walker; and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida to band together and state that they would not participate in any debate in which Mr. Trump was present, using his refusal to rule out a third-party bid as a pretext for taking such a hard line.

Cruz got Bushie beat by triple in TX.
Bush got space coast numbers in FL but Cruz got the gulf coast, both are about even in FL fundraising. Bush should be way out ahead but fundraising shows Cruz is substantial. Voter polls sample from Miami region which is more favorable to Bush so no telling. But Bush is not looking as good as he should.

Graddick won the runoff, but the Alabama Democratic Party threw out the runoff results and made Baxley the Democrat nominee. Then, Hunt, a political nobody at the time, proceeded to beat Baxley handily in the general election. It was obviously a backlash vote. I don’t think Alabama has elected a Democrat governor since.
Siegleman was convicted on a corruption charges.
The media even FOX won’t let that happen.
