Two possibilities exist for Earth...either being slingshot out into vast space, or sucked into the the super massive black hole created by the black holes at both the center of of the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxy. In either event, inhabitants are doomed.

I have read up on them, I still think it won’t be lifetime or my kids’ lifetime before man gets to a nearby habitable planet. And I’m still not sold they’re all that habitable.
