Says legalization is best way to deal with criminals
The White House vowed Thursday to veto a bill to punish sanctuary cities, instead calling on Congress to legalize illegal immigrants as the way to solve the problem of criminals who shouldnt be on the streets.
The threat came just hours before the House was expected to pass a bill that would withhold money from states or localities that dont abide by a federal law that requires them to cooperate when federal immigration authorities request help identifying illegal immigrants.
But the White House Office of Management and Budget said that threatens the civil rights of all Americans.
Sanctuary cities have become a target in the immigration debate after the July 1 murder of Kathryn Steinle, who was walking Pier 14 in San Francisco with her father when she was shot. The man implicated in the murder was deported five times before and had an extensive felony record, but had been released by San Francisco, rather than turned over to federal authorities for deportation, under its sanctuary policy.

Liberals don’t care how many people their idiotic policies kill.
Well said, and I can’t recall any issue he’s viewed as an American.
There’s an idea Barry: just turn all the inmates loose and we won’t need prisons.
Actually this is what he wants to do with Gitmo.
CW is brewing my FRiends. It seems that the pack of loser’s inside of the beltway have sold the country down the drain. In another time all of this would have been am act of WAR, and the SOB in the white mosque needs to be impeached for treason, but don’t hold your breath until that happens they are all too busy lining their pockets. But you cannot really blame the brown clown he just read about it in the paper and in any case it’s somelse’s fault.
Sanctuary cities are a violation of existing Federal law. Congress needs to add stiff personal penalties for the local officials who are in violation, and cut off all funding.
We were once a nation of laws.
No worry about one-note - it needs saying.
But the White House Office of Management and Budget said that threatens the civil rights of all Americans.”
Greatest threat to the civil rights of US citizens is the White House

I am not an alarmist nor a conspiracy fan but I agree with you.
Absolutely, and specifically the lawless _resident.
Yep.
It's similar to calling the Chattanooga radical Muslim killer a 'domestic terrorist'.. that way the liars at Southern Poverty Law Center, Homeland, rouge FBI agents and IRS bullies can point to that killing and wink and nod that it's "domestic" implying it might be 'vast right wing conspiracy'... We know how the little sh*t's operate.
A federal judge is warning Obama and his DHS stooges to correct past immigration wrongdoing, but he’s planning to forge ahead with new executive orders bringing in even more illegals.
He’s always been crooked—”I am from Kenya” as a student; “I am not from Kenya” running for office—but now he’s gone completely rogue and the GOP continues to do .... nothing.
You got that right.
Execution for murderers, a double fence with tunnel detection the length of our border, and deportation trains filled to standing room only is the best way to handle our illegal situation.
Add an amendment to constitution to all states the rich to deport illegal without federal involvement.
CALL HIM ON IT!
Let's see how that works out with the 80% of voting citizens frustrated to distraction by the self-appointed Il-Duce.
If the Castrated GOPe stops running and stand up on two legs, maybe the catatonic electorate would finally be motivated to push back.
BTTT!
Only one way to find out!!
obama is about to announce a plan to blackmail suburban cities to build low cost housing and important inner city people. If the suburbs don’t comply the threat is to with hold federal funds. Declare the the suburbs to be Sanctuary zones from federal meddling and as a Sanctuary to be free from federal punitive measures.
Make him veto it, that will also reveal those who will not vote to over ride the veto.
