Obviously ignored the deaths caused by tazers. Facts, stubborn things. Apparently acceptable to some, again, others nope. Use of a tazer that can possibly kill someone, one who is not combative is unlawful, inhumane, and violates one’s rights. There’s not going to be time to “hope for the best” settle that in some court room. Safety is paramount. At least ya learned a bit about the modern black talon round that never went away though.
Again, your opinions are interesting, but fortunately the laws disagrees with you.
Yes, people can die from tasers (p.s. tazer is actually a brand), but people can also die from pepper spray and being hit with a purse. However, it is rare. Taser related deaths have only occurred due to other physical ailments/complications. Please do a little research on this. Also, he could have grabbed her and forced her out, but that would have likely led to more injuries on her than tasing her.
Failing to follow a lawful order is a violation of TX law. Using a taser is authorized by TX law in a situation of passive aggressiveness. It is not a violation of any rights. SCOTUS has already ruled on it.
BTW...your persistent implied threats about shooting a cop only prove you to be a coward. I say “bring it on”!!
FYI...tasers are considered “less lethal” or “less than lethal” devices because they can, in rare circumstances result in death. They have never been considered “not lethal”. However, they are also not considered “lethal force” within the use of force continuum. He appropriately used the taser, within the law and within use of force guidelines.
