I never said any law spoke specifically about cigs. I said the law gave the cop authority, as a lawful order, to require her to put out the cigarette. I have provided 4 statutes/laws so far, but you haven’t even provided one that says a cop doesn’t have the authority to give that lawful order.
If you read those full statutes/laws along with the other resources that I’ve provided, then you will find that it is the burden of the person to prove that an order is not lawful otherwise the law assumes the order to be lawful. So another words, unless the law specifically states an order to be unlawful (i.e. rape, bjs, to stop breathing,etc.) then the order is assumed to be lawful under State law.
