So what? It's their garage, their cars, their driveway and their property. How about we all go over to your house and tell you what you can keep in your garage. Do you have more than the limit of toilet paper rolls in the bathroom and are you in violation by storing some in the hall closet? Over the limit on paper clips in your desk drawer? Too many M&Ms in the candy dish? You can write out the check to Nazis R Us.
I got no room to talk about garages. My husband’s side of the garage looks like a serious episode of hoarders but I can still get my car in one side of it. LOL. Our daughter helped load the garage when she married and moved away, leaving all her “treasures.” Gaaaaaaa. I gave up organizing as it is impossible living with an Oscar when you are a Felix.
I fully agree with most that the law is stupid and that the neighbor who called it in is a petty A-hole. But what are their choices right now?
Fight the law costing them time money and aggravation, or clean out the garage?
BTW, it is mentioned that these people did not know that the ordinance was changed. The time to fight crap like that is when they are trying to change it. I would vote to clean out the garage.
