He probably should have said “Would you be less upset if I told you I’m only going to give you a warning this time?”
That being said, he might have felt she was trying to hide something. I wonder if they found any weed or other drugs in her car? It sounds like she was a drug user.
They didn’t find anything in her car. They were fishing for it though. She was charged with assaulting a police officer because she supposedly kicked him. We couldn’t see that in the video but I highly doubt that was anything. She was scared.
One thing about this that bugs me is the way the media wants to make it about race. It is as though no one else ever has a bad experience with police other than blacks. That is just crazy. I do think there is an issue with traffic cops who try to antagonize people so they can escalate the traffic violation into an arrest. Why? I do not know. Maybe they have quotas they have to meet. Maybe they are bored. But it is wrong, and it is wrong when it happens to white people just as much as when it happens to black people.
