I have a copy of Bernard Goldberg’s book “Bias”. In it (and remember, it was written a while before the Docugate scandal that got Dan shown the door), there is a very disturbing portrait of what it was really like to deal with Rather on an up close and personal level. He could be a very generous and nice person but very extremely nasty and ruthless towards anyone who crossed his path (and this is how he reacted towards Goldberg’s 1996 groundbreaking piece in the Wall Street Journal about concerns about liberal bias in the mainstream press). I would not hold my breath to see this sort of thing be depicted in the movie.
Sounds like McCain.... He fights conservatives “like the enemy in a war” ... But buddies up to liberals as friends.
