But you’re right a 65/66 Nova was small and lighter and with that 327/350 motor was a Goat grabber in sheeps clothing

Alas my folks wouldn’t allow me to buy a power car when I came of age in 72

Now I get tempted on occasion

Last week I looked at a 70 Dodge Dart 340 Swinger

Non numbers fairly cheap

My wife rolls her eyes I’m being silly

So back to Limey cars...

A lot of guys are doing a nice powertrain upgrade to the MGB by doing a drivetrain transplant from a Camaro, or the FWD 3400 60 degree V6, with the T-5 5 speed.

A pretty good performance bump, up from around 100HP and a 4-speed, up to around 190HP and a 5-speed.

It's a nice fit...view it online.
