"If I do something wrong, I think I just try to make it right," Trump said. "I don't bring God into that picture. I don't. "When we go into church — and when I drink my little wine, which is about the only wine I drink, and have my little cracker — I guess that is a form of asking for forgiveness. I do that as often as possible because I feel cleansed, OK? "But, to me, that is important," Trump said. "In terms of officially, I could tell you absolutely. I don't think in terms of that. I think in terms of, 'Let's go on and let's make it right.'"

Unfortunately, this completely contradicts the whole purpose of Christ. Jews were bound by the Law and had to atone for their sins, Christ came so that they (and we) no longer have too. The ritual of taking wine and a cracker doesn't absolve you of your sins, they can only be forgiven when you ask Christ for forgiveness. Sadly, Trump doesn't seem to have ever grasped that.

“When we go into church — and when I drink my little wine, which is about the only wine I drink, and have my little cracker...”

Man, I have never heard communion spoken of so irreverently.

Unfortunately, this completely contradicts the whole purpose of Christ. ... Sadly, Trump doesn't seem to have ever grasped that.

If this is true I sincerely pity the man. He is in desperate need of some spiritual counseling.

And the MSM purge continues......

Maybe he should have sworn an allegiance to the church of Osteen? Or maybe the church of Jimmy Bakker or the House of Swaggart. Lets throw in the Church of "tongues" hosted by Robert Tilton and even add some pedophile Catholics.........

There, does that cover the spectrum of purity your candidate needs to fulfill?

Don't bring your personal religious beliefs into politics because it's unlikely there will be a candidate that will ever fullfill your demand for religious perfection......
