Cops do it all the time, my question is how can they legally do this?
Of course the line of questioning goes like this.
Cop: Do you have any ID??
Notice the cop does not ask him to see his ID, only if he has one.
Usually the citizen offers up his ID voluntarily.
That is how they get away with it!
