Most of the GOP is too busy pandering to Hispanics to notice. There's something really pathetic about watching Republicans try to play the Democrats' race panderer game, the Democrats have been doing it so well and so long that it's amateurs vs. professionals.
Given a choice between Democrat and Democrat-lite, voters on the dole will choose Democrat every time.
