The problem is this is the kind of stupid comment you'll get from Trump throughout any campaign. Even if he apologizes and walks it all back, a lot of grass roots conservatives with political sense will be reminded that this guy is a walking gaffe machine that could never be the nominee simply because he is bound to do the same in a general election and hand the White House to Hillary on a platter. This is the kind of thing that kills campaigns, and there is no way most Republican primary voters are going to take that kind of risk on an already sketchy candidate.
Trump was never, ever going to be the GOP nominee. These comments probably mark the beginning of the end for him. Only a matter of time before he either gets out of the race or his ego pushes him to run indie.
Let us pray for the Lord’s operating in this situation to bring a blessing rather than a curse.
I believe the Lord brought Trump in to the situation to shout out some long ignored truth.
Now if someone else is better chosen of the Lord to carry on the torch, Trump will be brought back out of the situation.
I know the Lord is in control and I know He hears sincere prayers for the good.
I disagree. If Trump gets out, Bush is a shoo-in and he is the one picked by the Republican Establishment. I like Trump because he can stop Bush and because he shares some of Patton’s qualities. He’s no Patton, but he’s not afraid of saying what he thinks and that’s worth a TON to me.
