I agree. And Trump could have taken him to the woodshed on so many positions McCain has taken over the years. Instead he decides to attack him on his military service and his time as a POW, and does it in a way that insults every POW before or since. When Trump in on stage it seems like his mouth disconnects from his brain. Or maybe he is just by nature a nasty guy who likes to bully people. Either way that act is going to get really tired really fast with most of the people in the country.
Watch the video from the conference where he said the comment. Barely a gasp from the audience. No shouts, no reprisals. Doesn’t mean they approved, but there were many other issues discussed and lots of ovations. Poor taste? Yes. Other issues to yell at McCain about? Yes. Speaks his mind and doesn’t care about what others think? Most definitely and certainly most refreshing and probably carries him through. He’s already released a statement and has already started bashing others. The media and other pubbie candidates will all wrong their hands and speak with stern faces....But finally someone who will say what’s on their mind and stick by it.

But just for facts, imagine they were driving corvettes having barbecues living great twenty years after the military defeated hurler tgey were figuring out flying off carriers. And whammies they get put into Southeast Asia leaving their corvettes wit yheir wives and kids flying over the jungle full of pissec off locals, guerrillas in some stupidly run Kennedy inspired LBJ run operation who knew what they see even up against

I don’t know what McCain did in captivity. If people are so interested then they should go after the facts of what Jane Fonda and her no good husband did and try her for sedition or worse
