Absolutely NOT! McCain needs to apologize for his war on the Tea Party. McCain needs to apologize for his WAR on VETS.
McCain needs to apologize for supporting the Dems instead of those who elected him.
McCain needs to apologize for pretending to be a hero when there are far better men than he who don’t associate or even speak to him. There is an old saying, “You’re judged by the company you keep” Evidently other POW’s Don’t “keep company” with McCain. There must be a very good reason for them to turn their backs on him.

Whatever hero worship McCain gained by being a POW was wasted by him when he turned his back on the POW-MIA families, along with John Kerry, and we never received an accounting of the hun dreds of men we KNEW were left behind as POWs.

In the same statement he immediately corrected what he said. The media of course does not report what he actually said. To hell with McCain. He was a terrible pilot who crashed a couple of planes before before his capture, collaborated with the enemy during his capture, and has been one of the worst traitorous republican senators in the history of the country. Just a democrat mascarading a republican.

Trump can apologize all he wants but it doesn’t take back what he said which was despicable. What strikes me is this episode was so unnecessary since there are so many things on which to attack McCain since his POW days. It was a stupid blunder that provides insights into how Trump thinks or doesn’t think. It sums up some of us have been saying about Trump which is that he is clumsy and not ready for prime time. Not to mention that he can’t be trusted since he has said he is essentially a democrat and likes Hillary Clinton.

Foolish and wrong. He should apologize to John McCain, who is a hero because he honorably endured captivity, like the American POWs who survived the Japanese captivity. He does not owe all veterans an apology. He did not disparage us.
