Several people have said a Bandido was the first to fire along with the blogger. My question is why was there an undercover working the Cossack’s, they’re good ole boy’s right? Could he have been an officer who was a Cossack and known by other Cossack’s as an officer with the Waco PD?
“Several of the Bandidos including Manny Rodriguez and Ray Allen never even had time to step off their bikes or do anything beyond swing blindly toward he assault from the handheld, Cossack wieled weapons that surrounded them. Then a shot rang out in the scuffle maybe two? Suddenly cops came out of nowhere with assault weapons mowing down bikers all over the parking lot.”
That’s all I can find that the blogger posted about any shots. It sure doesn’t say a Bandido fired first. Where did he say that?
This particular OP doesn't assign first shot to either group. An earlier piece (same blogger) recounts a version that includes " A little after 12, some more Bandidos rolled in, less than ten of them. They were surrounded by Cossacks in the parking lot. An altercation ensued and the Bandidos were fighting them off with their hands and helmets because they hadn't even gotten off the bikes yet. Suddenly one Cossack pulled a gun and fired into a Bandido's shoulder. There is some confusion as to the next shot fired, but then the SWAT team came out and shot up everyone... killing nine, wounding more than 20. The reason so many Cossacks died is because they had the Bandidos surrounded."

Per the Waco PD felony complaint, the Cossacks are an OMG, Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, officially so per Texas Department of Public Safety.
Cossacks would be much easier to infiltrate than Bandidos, Cossacks are looking to expand membership, I gather there have been some club/gang mergers (IIRC, that's how Barnum became a Cossack). I doubt that he was generally known as Waco PD, to the Cossacks.
