I'm not "challenging" you, but do you have a link? I know the "average citizen" is almost a lost cause these days, but I'd think even they would find this troubling. This also brings up the question of whether our intelligence services knew something was coming? I still think such measures are useless, because the next step is attacks on anyone, anywhere in the US, where mass casualties can be sustained.

There might be some articles from the weeks prior to the July 4 weekend. Terror warnings were talked about. FReepers talked about the warnings quite a bit. I don’t recall if specifics were given in regards to the military. but now that I typed that, I recall that there was chatter from ISIS that they were planning attacks on U.S. military members wherever they are. And their families. This was weeks ago. Sorry I don’t have any links. As for my personal knowledge, I can hardly link to that. Consider my knowledge a secondary source.
