Good concert. Two vocal pieces by Benjamin Britten sung by a Vietnamese tenor who is a rising star. The Brahms trio for piano, violin and French horn, which is a glorious piece. And finally a string septet by Richard Strauss where he says goodbye to the great German musical tradition that Hitler and his minions almost destroyed.
