Also consider that when the Democrat-controlled Congress scandalously passed the unconstitutional Stimulus Package and Obamacare bills that they essentially gave Obama a blank check to spend taxpayer dollars on anything that he wanted to.
In other words, the Democrats completely defeated the purpose of the “power of the purse” clause (1.7.1) which gives the House the power to defund unpopular federal spending programs like Obama’s stimulus plan for Iran, Obama now essentially financially independent of Congress.
The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, along with corrupt senators and a lawless president.
I believe it is time for 2A to be used for it’s intent... you know... hunting and target shooting.
