WASHINGTON President Barack Obama is headed to Pittsburgh on Tuesday to speak to thousands of veterans in town for the Veterans of Foreign Wars national convention at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown.
It will be Mr. Obamas fifth speech to the national convention since 2007, and his third as president.
What we hope to hear is how he will continue to take the fight to our enemies, while keeping America safe through strong national defense and homeland security programs, said VFW National Commander John W. Stroud, a retired Air Force First sergeant from Nevada. We also want to know how he will create, enhance and protect veteran and military health care programs and quality-of-life initiatives such as education benefits, job training and employment programs, as well as hear a renewed White House commitment to return our fallen from their battlefields.

Prepare thyself to be disappointed.

Why those guys don’t turn their backs or walk out on him I’ll never know.

uhhh....VFW? Did you invite or was this a self-invitation? Because I cannot think of a more inappropriate speaker for VFW than BO. Maybe his boss Valerie, but other than that....

They should throw their shoes at that piece of filth.

Sad dang state of affairs. There are left leaning folks in the military which totally baffles me. But, it is what it is. I was hoping there might be some Johnny Red lapel pins at least. :>}

Will Obama put on a Dress to celebrate his decision to allow Transgenders in the Military?
I'm sure the Old Guys at the VFW will really support that.

I’m sure the vets will be dis-shoed at the door.
That, and the bar won’t be open until after BO has left...

He’ll enlighten them on global warming and about the peace-loving mohammedans who get such a bad rap, kick over some wheelchairs, and then go to some fundraise around there.

Deserter Bowe Bergdahl's parents are honored at the Rainbow House.
Why isn't Ø ordering flags lowered to honor the four Marines in Tennessee?

There’s been many meetings in Washington about corruption in the Veterans Administration for months now....might be some of these will be noted behind the scenes. Several in Pittsburgh were called to testify in Washington.
