How the Republicans Plan to Lose to Hillary

A new survey from Univision, the pro-Mexico television network, demonstrates the utter folly of Republicans appealing to Hispanic voters. It finds that 68 percent have a favorable view of Hillary Clinton despite the scandals swirling around her. By contrast, only 36 percent have a favorable view of former Republican Governor Jeb Bush, who is married to a Mexican and speaks Spanish.

Bush “was the highest-rated of all the Republican candidates,” Univision reports, with Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), a one-time proponent of amnesty for illegals, coming in second with only a 35 percent approval rate.

What the poll demonstrates is that Hispanics are basically owned by the Democratic Party. The Democrats’ power grab for the Latino vote has been successful. However, ultimately the Democratic Party’s success in the presidential election depends on convincing Republicans to fruitlessly continue to appeal to Hispanics, while abandoning the GOP voter base of whites, conservatives and Christians.

Overall, in terms of political party affiliation, 57 percent of Hispanics identified themselves as Democrats and only 18 percent said they are Republicans. A total of 25 percent called themselves independent.

In another finding, 59 percent of Hispanic voters said they were satisfied with Barack Obama’s presidency after his six years in office. Clearly, most Hispanics have drunk the Kool-Aid. For them, it appears that federal benefits and legalization of border crossers are what matters. Most of them don’t bat an eye in regard to Obama’s lawless and traitorous conduct of domestic and foreign policy.

What the Republicans have left is to try to appeal to white, conservative and Christian voters.

Than reach the others. Ignoring a growing voting block is silly stupid. Pandering to them is worse, though.

You reach them thru the jobs issue. Immigrants are taking American jobs and depressing wages. We have a surplus of labor.

You also do not contribute to this growing voting block by importing more of them. Do we really need 1.1 million legal immigrants a year, two thirds of whom are future Dem voters?

Sell the American Way and convince people that we measure success by how many people get off the welfare state. Not how many are on it. Most will ignore, but some will be convinced. Our future is dependent on that happening.

We need to stop importing poverty. 20% of the adult legal immigrants lack even a high school diploma. We are importing hundreds of thousands of high school dropouts annually. The American Way won't resonate among people who want more services from Big Government.

Check here for the exit polls.

Obama and the Dems were able to convince people that the Dems care more about them. It worked.

Read this article by Jeff Sessions: Becoming the Party of Work --How the GOP can help struggling Americans, and itself.

I wonder how the Dems can defend bringing in huge numbers of legal immigrants along with amnesty while we have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years and almost 92 million Americans of working age who are not working. American jobs for American workers should the cry of the GOP candidate. Instead all we hear is higher fences and wider gates. Insanity. Even Trump like Romney before him says legal immigration is great. It isn't and it is killing our middle class.

“Romney received 1 million more votes than McCain”.

Not white conservative votes. It was down.

Your source? How many white conservative voters did McCain get compared to Romney?

Again, your statement "Numbers were down for both candidates in 2012" is flat out wrong. Romney got one million more votes than McCain.

The initial reports had Romney receiving a million votes less than McCain. Updated reports from wiki say Romney ended up with about a half million more votes than McCain. Exact same thing for conservatives, most reports said Romney got less than McCain. How it ended up I don’t know. I do one thing though. Republicans need to worry about getting their base to vote for them. White voters outnumber all minority groups combined. To hell with hispanic voters, a very small percentage vote anyway and to hell with black voters, who vote for sugar daddy every time we have an election. Like Reagan republicans need to concentrate on reliable white voters. It works every time. 20% of so-called Evangelicals and 50% of so-called Catholics voted for Mr. Abortion. There lies the election.

Go to this site: David Lieps Atlas to get the official figures.

McCain received 59,950,323 and Romney 60,934,407. It was almost a million more votes for Romney.

most reports said Romney got less than McCain.

They were wrong. Many of the absentee ballots had not been counted.

I do one thing though. Republicans need to worry about getting their base to vote for them. White voters outnumber all minority groups combined. To hell with hispanic voters, a very small percentage vote anyway and to hell with black voters, who vote for sugar daddy every time we have an election.

Check out the exit polls for 2008 and 2012.

Whites made up 74% of the electorate in 2008 and 72% in 2012. Blacks were 13% for both elections. Latinos were 9% in 2008 and 10% in 2012. Latinos can be of any race.

Like Reagan republicans need to concentrate on reliable white voters. It works every time. 20% of so-called Evangelicals and 50% of so-called Catholics voted for Mr. Abortion. There lies the election.

On that we agree.
