Federal government did not send federal troops.
Texas governor sent Texas National Guard, and yes, were not armed.
Didn’t the gubment send National Guard troops to guard the border? Didn’t they give them weapons? Didn’t they NOT give them ammo?....I’m not sure what you point is, but the answers to your questions are #1 No. #2 No. and #3 No.

The entire government is top heavy with fools, incompetents, cowards, arrogant liberal elites, and traitors.
If I left any POS out of the above list, I’m sorry. Just fill in my sentence.
Interestingly, my son became a federal police officer because they wanted Iraq/Afghan combat veterans in key protective positions, but the top Govt official he often protected treated these officers like shit.
On the other hand, liberal British politician PM Tony Blair treated his protectors with courtesy and respect. He went out of his way to talk to them and even gave them some special pins he carried.
I think I can honestly say, after having been in and on the Washington scene since the mid’1960s, that we have the worse governmental leaders (traitors, fools, incompetents, affirmative action losers, guilt ridden white liberals, communists and racists) in the entire history of the United States, and Obama/his comrades planned it like that.
If you don’t believe me, just make up a list of O’s top advisors and appointees in each government agency, and see who has been fired for incompetence, lying to Congress (not enough), destroying documents, illegally having contact with our enemies (only one so far but he’s back as O’s top advisor on certain Middle Eastern affairs - color him Pink), dereliction of duty (GSA scandal, Secret Service scandals, OPM scandals), etc.
If you need more paper on which to list all of this treason and undermining of America, I’ll send you a ream.
